The final result combines high-level craftsmanship and manufacture in a unique and exclusive product. Each bamboo element in the JACQUELINE collection sees a dedicated manual process: from root selection to hot bending, from treatment to make it water-compatible and aesthetically unique, to technology for inserting the elements necessary for the passage of water to joining metals, as in a high-fashion accessory. This is what Gessi Haute Culture is all about: recovering, renewing, and experimenting with all the skills and craftsmanship that are typical of the Italian way of life, in order to protect this culture, which would otherwise risk of fading, and to take it to the next level.A limited selection of ten finishes matches the refinement of JACQUELINE’s new concept in combination with the different bamboo flamings: polished and brushed Nickel, polished and brushed Black Metal, polished and brushed Brass, polished and brushed Warm Bronze, Dark Bronze and brushed Copper, accentuating the sartorial touch, and in the brand new Total Black color in combination with the innovative Deep Black Metal finish, almost absolute black.Water dispensing levers, inspired in shape by the fastenings of handbags and fashion accessories, are available in metal with leather-effect details or in a material that simulates horn with contrasting metal details.Bamboo is used in different models: low basin mixer, with spout in two heights, two- or three-hole, floor, ceiling and wall-mounted mixers, while the mixer bases in turn present an innovative design because of their shapes and proportions. Thanks to the generous thickness of the bamboo root, they offer soft yet rigorous marks, such as smooth angles, while the side levers invite a natural though unusual gesture.This, too, is an expression of GESSI’s “haute culture,” which enters the most intimate space of living with the new collections that will be previewed at Milano Design Week, from April 17 to 23.
